We recently delivered a customised container to Hardbinding Solutions' factory in Irvine, Scotland, UK. The container was built in our factory, and includes parts and kit manufactured by Glenhead Engineering in their factory adjacent to ours.

Hardbinding's oilfield customers can use the container as a novel poratable solution. A short video can be viewed by clicking on the image to the left. To read and see more about the containers, please click here.

Today, Fergus Ewing, the Scottish Government's Minister for Energy, Enterprise & Tourism, officially opened our new factory, along with our sister company, Glenhead Engineering. Located next to the Glenhead factory you can see our main entrance, and to the right of it, Glenhead's Goods In/Out door.

The move to the new premises was completed at the weekend with the Admin department now safely located within the new offices. The contact details are the same as before, except the postal address is now 58 Beardmore Way instead of 60 Beardmore Way.

At the start of May, our sister company, Glenhead Engineering, acquired new premises round the corner, behind our current factory. Already, with the help of SMAS, the project plan for the move has been devised, the factory floor lined out, and internal alterations begun. We will have a new section made within the main factory for fabrication.

We plan to migrate in stages beginning the weekend of 16th May, and should be completed the move by the beginning of June.

West Of Scotland Fabrication's new website went live today. The company's directors Bob O'Donnell and Paul McLaren agreed that not only was the whole design very modern, but functionality had been added, such as the ability to upload drawings for quotation. Bob added "The new site gives our customers an additional channel to communicate with us".
